We woke up to a couple inches of snow this morning. On April 22nd. And to make it worse, as I was driving the kids to school today Owen wanted to sing Christmas songs. Ugh. I am not happy about this. On days like this I wish we still lived in Texas.
On days like this, just think of (late) June, July, August and September at Lake Tahoe. There is nothing more beautiful and it's unlike summer anywhere else. It makes snow in April a little more tolerable. A little.
After spending almost 10 years in Carson City, Nevada, we have moved back to Texas! Now we are living in Austin and enjoying spending more time with our family.

doesn't a fresh snow fall remind you of santa's arrival? it's pretty common for kids of that age...i remember...
