The Firkin and Fox
Our friends Jim, Gaby and Sofia just opened up a new pub/restaurant here in Carson City. They renovated the space in the historic St. Charles Hotel downtown and did an amazing job with the restoration and decor! It's definitely one of the nicest places to eat in Carson City! i didn't realize you knew the people opening this place up...i guess we don't talk much anymore...
I went to the Firkin and Fox with my wife and we had a great time. Even though the wait was very long, since the entire town was there, the staff was friendly and accommodating. In regards to the last comment about the food, we had the Bangers and Mash and the Shepherds Pie and it was Great!! I don't think that you would find food like that at a typical chain such as a TGI' Fridays.
We have been back 2 more times since opening and have had the same good experience. Go and try it out.
