My mom came into Austin last weekend for Mother's Day and we took her out to Lady Bird Lake for some fun. We rented a couple of stand up paddleboards and also took out our canoe.
Adler enjoyed riding on the front of the paddleboards!
Owen tried out the paddleboard himself and did great! I think he enjoyed fishing in the canoe better, but he paddled around for a while.
Here's our crew! I'm so proud that my mom is adventurous and young spirited, and enjoys doing things like this with us!

We were exhausted after paddling for hours and went to eat a delicious lunch at a new food truck park. Great day!
Owen's class held a Mother's Day pampering party for us. We had breakfast and both the kids pampered me by doing my hair and makeup, painting my fingernails and even giving me a back massage! It was a pretty cute class event.
