It's hard to believe that Adler is already a year and a half! She is growing up so fast and becoming such a little girl. I thought I would dedicate this post to her and tell you what she's up to these days.
- She is talking quite a bit and says these words: yep, no, mine, baby, "Owie", mama, dada, Sandy, doggie, "tank you", "pease", bye. She's doing some sign language as well.
- She is currently teething, so I'm not really sure how many teeth she has at the moment. For sure 2 on bottom, 4 on top, plus getting several molars.
- Adler loves to dance! When she hears music, her body moves.
- She prefers being outside or in the garage with her daddy.
- She still loves her baby dolls and wheels them around the house in her baby stroller with her purse on her arm.
- She also likes to play with her food and shopping cart.
- Most of all, she likes to play with anything her brother is playing with: animals, cars, trains, marbles, balls!
- She enjoys reading books and is starting to sit longer to read!
- She's still not the best eater and has to be in the mood to eat. She also has serious opinions on what she chooses to eat. Cookies are always acceptable.
- Her hair is getting pretty long and we have to pull it back out of her eyes. For some reason I can't bare to cut it, so we're going to see if we can continue pulling it back and letting it grow.
- She takes one nap a day now, for 2-3 hours in the afternoon (and occasionally in her high chair).
This is a picture from her school, right after the teachers did her hair. So pretty.
Another photo from school. She has graduated from the portable crib to a mat for naps. She's now one of the older kids in her classroom and they will start grooming her to move into the 2 year old room.
More than anything, Adler loves her brother!!
She likes to try on everyone elses shoes.
Love those chunky legs!
She found these crocs in her dresser the other day and happily wore them all around the house. Unfortunately, it's still too cold to wear them outside. We're hoping that changes soon.
